Umoja, Sylvia, Malcolm, Kim, Lorna, Joan, Melody, Tracy, Robin Paul, Lydia, Priscilla, Heidi WOMEN IN JAZZ SOUTH FLORIDA, INC. had it's first official fundraiser of 2011 on May 14th at ArtServe, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, featuring Rick DellaRatta of Jazz For Peace and five members of WIJSF performing their original music - Melody Cole, Kim J, Robin Avery, Paul Banman and Joan Cartwright. We raised $1050 after expenses and the event was very well attended.
